Tie Die

Great news everyone! I saw the new Ang Lee movie and was inspired.
I’m now happy to announce that soon, ZU will be releasing the first numbered, tie dyed tee shirts on custom, over-scoop-necked tank tops!

Okay, so I did see a movie that features hippies and, damn it, I liked it (there’s a perfectly portrayed cross-dressing character in the film who you just want to bring home to meet Dad) but I haven’t totally lost my mind, and there shall be no tie dyes.

There shall be bold icons that represent our generation, and hey, even a Hippie might want to get into at least 2 of them! The third with the big “X” on it though? I kinda doubt that would be appealing to the more toxically inclined – unless you wanna believe that the X stand for “Xtacy.” Don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone that it actually symbolizes Porn.

Not only do we have the three aforementioned pieces that I’m really hoping will arrive before I personally disappear into the sky (and again, no, I’m no dropping acid, I mean the rock n roll sky,) but ZU shoes are on the way. If you’ve always wondered what it was like to have the shiniest sneaks on the block, come spring line 2010, you’ll need wonder no more! Wait til you see these things in person. They’re vegan, they’re a collaboration with MacBeth and they’re magic.

I’ve gotta go delicately shove my custom prototypes in a suitcase.
