An Introduction of Sorts

I suppose it’s time for a few introductions for those of you who aren’t privvy:
Me:
Hi I’m Danny. If Davey is the captain of this fantastic voyage, I
would be the first mate, gunnery sargent, chief engineer, chief
purser, head unicorn wrangler, and man-at-arms all rolled into one.
I’m like Tony Stark combined with the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. Crash
course: I like donuts and camouflage, and above all camouflage donuts.
I like science and knives, coffee and capacitive sensors, PID control
and and anything that flies (see
UAV not Satre). I might bend to the
will of gravity, but my loyalty is to quantum chromodynamics.
Zu Boutique:
As previously mentioned, the 3rd time’s a charm. To avoid the pitfalls
of the last attempts we’ve decided to take it back: this adventure is
at the moment all DIY. From the website to the art design
to shipping and receiving this machine is powered by our sweat and
tears, and ours alone. It’s proving to be the only way to get things
done the way we want them. That being said, as you can see in my list
of talents it never mentions website-coding-master,
business-running-extraordinaire, or FedEx. So I ask that a modicum of
patience be bestowed my way as we try to get this equipment humming at resonate pitch.
Things:
As of now, we have a small issue with the website sometimes taking an
inordinate amount of time to load (45 seconds!) which most of
you may never even experience. Also, since you all are apart of of
this experiment as well please feel free to shoot me some feedback
(especially those of you knowledgeable in RoR served via Mongrel
proxied through Apache.)
A few questions have arisen that I’d now like to address:
1) Yes, the shirts will be available for sale on this website, and yes
there is international shipping.2) Yes, my lucky number is 8 and I wear a size 10 shoe.
3) No, I’m not going to tell you when the shirts are going to drop (yet.)
4) Yes, it will be soon, yes I will give you ample warning.
So in recap:
I am Danny. This is Zu Boutique.
