80’s revival? Venetian blind sunglasses and hypercolor are back but where is the backlash against the oppressive, spirit-crushing conservatism that was so pervasive in those times of Bonzo? Where are the essential accessories for any androgynous, mall walking death rocker who was proud enough to carry a studded lunch box and brave enough to sigh, with pained ennui, “pssh, whatever” directly in the puffy, red, outraged face of diluted, disingenuous, moral conformity. The plan is to use our twitter to come at you with little bits and pieces of whats going on at Zu. What does that mean for the blog you might ask? Well, the blog is going to adapt into being a venue for us to announce larger news that can’t be conveyed in the concise 140 character limit imposed by Twitter. Hip to be Fixed

Much like the bike I ride, the website is now fixed. I apologize for all the drama the site caused some of you when upon confirming your order you received a big fat ERROR. As to be expected, many of you re- entered your order and re-proceeded to re-receive the error. This resulted in many multiple orders being placed before you saw a confirmation email. Which to most was just confusing. The award for Most Persistent Customer goes to our good friend xKx in Canterbury who processed no less than 7 orders before we were able to inform him

Chicken Rich

Last night I drank a chicken.

It was fantastic and quite the nice surprise when it arrived with my drink.

What’s even more exciting is that tonight’s the night. We have 1983, 1985 and 1986 to thank for the inspiration that lead to these new pieces that we bring to you. Synth Pop, Cult Classics, Glitter Icons and cow compassion all represent themselves in saturated fury.

There’s a yellow shirt too – my personal favorite so far.

Hey guys and gals, I just realized that even though we’ve had lots of stuff happening behind the scenes here at Zu, you all haven’t heard from us in quite a while. We’ve come up with some ideas to be in better communication, so you’ll likely see some changes on the site soon to reflect these new plans. Also, I know there are gentle (and not so gentle) rumors about new shirts being released soon so I thought I would address this.
